Several Building Service staff jumped into the Halloween spirit dressing in costume and competed for the honor of “Best Costume.”

The participants looked great and wore costumes that were creative and exciting.

The coordinators had a difficult time this year selecting the official winner because each costume was uniquely different. After much deliberation and council from the fearless director of residential facilities, a decision was made – two winners was the only reasonable decision.

The winners included Marlin Guist who enjoyed flexing his muscle and tooting his pipe and Trenda Lowrimore whose originality and make up design were fantastic.

She really played the role well.

Many of the staff elected enjoy a potluck meal together. Special thanks to Keisha Gaches for getting the party rolling! Housing staff wore costumes with the following guidelines:

  • Costume is appropriate for all ages in the public
  • Costume does not and will not create a safety hazard in the work being completed
  • Costume is not to be worn to meetings outside of housing

Other staff costumes included Nakia Johnson as a mouse, left, and Kayla McGrew as a deer.
