Gladson-Ripley Hall residents can enjoy a new fully furnished TV lounge and study space thanks to renovations and furniture from Razorback Stadium.

“Athletics is renovating the club levels of the football stadium and surplused the existing furniture,” said Jake Talley, coordinator for residence education. That furniture now lives in Gladson-Ripley Hall.

Residents received three black leather couches, a black leather loveseat, a black leather armchair, a red leather armchair and a coffee table.

These new pieces are in the hall’s TV lounge along with the existing ping pong table.

The Gladson-Ripley TV lounge now has a number of new furniture pieces to make the space more comfortable.

Across the hall from the TV lounge is a new study room.  It now boasts six study tables, 24 study chairs with a Razorback logo engraved on the front and 2 red fabric armchairs.

“Students have been requesting study spaces in Gladson-Ripley. This new furniture allows us to give our residents an on-campus home that supports their academic endeavors,” he said.
