What brought you to the University of Arkansas?
I attended the University of Arkansas for my undergraduate degree in journalism. I’m a Fayetteville native and have always wanted to come back! While I was living in Russellville for grad school, the opportunity to join University Housing came up, and I was more than happy to return to my alma mater.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I’am recently married! I don’t have any kids or pets, but I do have plenty of plants and camping equipment.
What are your hobbies?
I love being outside! Hiking, floating and camping are my favorites! I also own my own small photography business- I really enjoy capturing important moments and showing people how beautiful they are. I also enjoy doing freelance design work and strategic marketing strategy.
Can you provide us with a random fact about you?
I have worked with the Boy Scouts of America for a number of years and have filled many roles – aquatics director, marketing director, etc. I even helped move a black bear into a truck at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico in 2016.
What is your favorite part of working for University Housing?
I love working with students and I love the people I work with. Everyone is so fun, supportive and committed to the work we do in our halls. I also really enjoy planning events that are both exciting and educational. I love including nature and outdoor activities and adventures into my programming!
