WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS?
I grew up in a suburb of Dallas and always had a love and yearning for the outdoors and a little slower pace.
I visited Fayetteville for the first time in 2012 and fell in love with Northwest Arkansas, its people, and the University of Arkansas.
I knew that I had found my home right from the start. I graduated from the university in May 2017 with a degree in psychology and sought out to find a job on campus and here I am in Housing.
TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF – FAMILY? PETS?
I grew up in Rockwall, Texas, a lake community, which is about 20 minutes East of downtown Dallas. I have a little brother, Logan, who is two years younger than me who followed me to the university. I love having a little piece of my family up here!
My parents get to come and visit often now that they are empty nesters and I have a guest bedroom in my house. I have one dog named Jax. He is a 2-year-old Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix and he is an absolute angel. You can find us at the dog park just about every other day!

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
I enjoy many outdoor hobbies. I love to kayak, hike, boat, camp, and fish. I also enjoy hunting on our family’s land in west Texas. My two happiest places are the beach and country music concerts.
I love to spend time with my friends and my boyfriend – exploring new places like Eureka Springs, Kings River Falls, and all of the nearby rivers. I am always up for an adventure, whether it’s wakeboarding, parasailing, roller coaster riding, cliff jumping, or skydiving.
CAN YOU PROVIDE US WITH A RANDOM FACT ABOUT YOU?
In June, I got to go skydiving for the first time. I thought I would be so nervous, but once we got up in the air, and the adrenaline rush started, I was the first one out of the plane. It was the most amazing thing I have ever done and I will absolutely be jumping again.

WHAT WAS THE BEST CONCERT YOU EVER ATTENDED?
The very last concert stop of George Strait’s farewell tour in Dallas a few years ago at the Cowboys Stadium!
There were around 20 guest artists including Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Eric Church, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, and more. They all took turns singing George’s songs with him. It was incredible! The concert also broke a record for the largest-indoor concert in the US. It was definitely one for the books.
