University Housing’s own Brian Bopp received the Employee of the Quarter award from the Staff Senate on Nov. 27.

The ceremony and honor recognizes employees who perform outstanding service on behalf of the university. Employees are chosen each quarter for the award. Brian is University Housing’s associate director for information technology.

His supervisor Paul Soulsby attended the award ceremony in the Arkansas Union’s Verizon Ballroom. He said it was a much-deserved honor.

“Brian is a tremendous team member for Housing and the university. His professionalism and leadership have helped our department transition flawlessly through a difficult time and we are honored to have him. We are very grateful for this recognition and it is richly deserved.”

Faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate staff employees in recognition of outstanding service. All regularly appointed staff are eligible for nomination. Nominees must have been employed by the university for at least one year.

You can download a nomination form, or request a nomination form by visiting the Employee of the Quarter and Year webpage.

In addition, Brian was recognized in December for his contributions to the campus information technology community.

Good job, Brian!
